@marissa699 You’ll get an ESTHER account some time after you get in. I got in ED and we didn’t get ours (along with our emails) until about 2 weeks ago
When ED decisions came out, I asked my college counselor and she knew the exact date from talking to the Rice regional rep for my area (I’m from New Jersey). So if the decisions don’t come out today and you guys have counselors from school, you may wanna shoot them an e-mail over the weekend and see if they know anything.
Why does everybody so deadset believe that Rice comes out today at five? Also, why doesn’t Rice let you know when it is coming out…?
does anyone know the statistics of when decisions have come out in the past? i know last year it was on a friday before the 4/1

@ambereyes every college denies when admissions are coming out until they actually come out unless they’ve set a specific time. You can occasionally find out from errant IT guys, but for the most part, they keep their mouths shut.
colleges never come out with decisions on the date though so maybe they’re just saying that and we should be patient for like 40 more minutes
According to class of 2020 students, the decisions came out on this day last year
for my acceptances, they were all rolling admissions i think but for UT they claimed the decision would come out on 3/1 but it came out like two weeks before that
there’s an admitted student day on April 7th, so it seems like March 31 would be too late for them to release decisions (which are seemingly always released on a Friday)

yeah you’re right I remember when I tweeted UT and they said the decisions would come out a certain day but they came out two weeks before that

I got the packing notification from USPS last night and am hoping for an acceptance in 30 minutes!!!
I got waitlisted at WashU and UChicago and rejected from JHU. An acceptance from Rice would really make things less shitty haha.
