**OFFICIAL SAT Biology E/M June 2013 Exam**

I think i missed around 8 :(,the plasma one, the yellow brown thing, the immune system order, the cloning frog question, the RRNA synthesis, the distilled water plant cell, and now the heart one :frowning:
do you guys think with around 9 wrong and 0 omits, I can break 750?

unrelated barronā€™s ap exam 5 curve was 87% lol itā€™s never broken 65% as far as i know for the real deal, and the barronā€™s exam was about the same difficulty.

hello all,
kinda confused about the grading thing. for example- if i skip one, it would be 80/80 (assuming a perfect score) b/c if i skip a question it is -0? and if i get one wrong, it would be 79.75/80? i remember skipping a couple of questions and i think i missed a lotā€¦in total, i missed around 30~~. what score would i get then? i know its around a 500. trying to determine whether to cancel my scores or not.
thanks for your help!

@yalehopeful E or M? What was the immune system question???

@YaleHopeful you could possibly. It all depends on the difficulty of the test. My friend also told me that the forums here at CollegeConfidential get you really scaredā€¦Sometimes even if the answer seems right here, it can possibly go your way.

I also am in a similar situation as you are, and I am wondering if I should cancel my scores or not. I havenā€™t taken AP Bio yet, so I still can retake sat 2. Iā€™m just worried that the curve might be low and I somehow fail it miserablyā€¦

No skipping a question is -1. Getting one wrong is 1.25

@jtalley

I think that was the one where it gave you the steps to an inflammatory response and you had to put them in order.

if you skip one its 79/80

No assuming 80 raw score is perfect, skip is -1 as you count up from 0, wrong is minus 1.25

The immune system one was the question involving histamine and blood clotting.

I did E. Im at the end of my AP bio course right now and I thought I did well until I logged on to cc :frowning: Now that i found out I missed 8, Iā€™m pretty bummed out but I dont feel like cancelling my score. Imma just cross my fingers and hope for a 750
btw for the immune system one, i was stupid and put cells divide first

oh ok i put histamine first or something, the only other plausible had capillaries leakking first and histamine after wbc death and pus which i thought was wrong

For the immune sys question I knew that 5 went right after 2 so I was able to eliminate all the other answer choices. Lol

what i thought it was 0.25 for guessing. ok thanks.

@biofun was the order histamine vasodilation leak pus regeneration?

Yea that is what I got

that sparknotes chart is a joke and a half

yessssssss, still holding 770+ based on the general consensus, iā€™m really only seeing like a 5-10 % shot at an 800 for me, 770 seems most likely which Iā€™d be content with, good luck to you on that 800, it seems like youā€™re definitely well in the running :).

how many did u miss jtalley?

If you are talking about me jtalley, thanks. I got into the top 20 for the university of toronto bio olympiad so im pretty solid at buo. :P
