***Official SAT I June 2013***

also I feel like the question asking for the x coordinate of something intersecting y-axis was a trick question. isn’t the answer 0?

Let’s discuss the chewing gum passage…

@evelynF i got 48 for the 20 cups question

it should be stimulating undertaking

@jkim: 7. I don’t think so. Do you remember the other choices?
8. Self-assurance is what I put, pretty sure it’s not compassion.
9. I put disappointed in her grandkids or something, was that an answer choice?

@Evelyn yeah, it was r=0.

For the cup question, the first cup was 10. x= 2. Multiple 2*19 +10 = 48.

@ evelyn - the answer for the intersection is 0. Check your graphing calc
@extra - 9 was not living up to expectations

I don’t think it’s accumen…unwarranted. Unwarrented makes no sense.

oh and why did she sing…was between loneliness and fit in surroundings…only cause it said that the refrig hummed also

@whatkneww - It’s lonliness because it said like the silence was pushing down on her or something similar.

Was the answer something to do with America Culture or that he was not having a good experience.

also with the graph f(x) & g(x) having the same x-intercepts did you guys put 3 or more?

@evelyn - 3 or more because parabox is f(x) = ax^2
a can be any different number

yay! okay I’m really upset because I got those other 2 wrong and I changed my answer. I’m sorry to have so many math questions, I’m just debating whether or not to cancel my score. For the math, did you get that the volume of the sphere is 2/3 the cylinder?

I got 3/2 for the volume. I might of confused myself and put 3/2 because I thought it said to put the fraction of the volume of cylinder. 1:3/2 = 2/3

@Muffin, pretty sure it was acumen/unwarranted. I and some other people explained it earlier on in the thread.

And I got sphere/cylinder to be 2/3, but some people are saying we were supposed to do cylinder:sphere. I personally don’t think so though, but I could always be wrong.

why is it unforeseen pleasure and not unrealized expectations? also, why is it disappointed with american culture and not with children?

Yeah, I would also like to know why it’s pleasure. Does anyone remember the other answer choices? I completely forgot :/

It definitely was not an unforeseen pleasure, I put the answer choice with dissapointment

@extra - I’m pretty sure it is 3/2. There’s no possible way that I could of corrected myself to a wrong answer…

I’m pretty sure it asked for the volume of the sphere in ratio with the cylinder
