OFFICIAL SAT II BIO June 2..

What did you put for the most diverse phylum?

Arthropoda.

The liver doesn't make red blood cells, correct?? And roots don't produce leaf nodes or something??

^ Alright, thanks. So did I, but my friends put chordates

what were the other choices for the genetic drift question?

umm the only other option i remember was natural selection

it was introduce another bird species because it said biological control and non of the other ones where "living" controls
virus was close but viruses are not considered to be alive

nikkigurl12- for the liver, it was the last answer..
and for the roots question, it was the leaves.

SWEET correcto!

was one answer "gene flow"?

did anyone take the m?
what was the answer to the immune system question i think i put produce more ribosomes but i know thats wrong

and what about the section at the end about viruses the one that infects bacteria is a phage and AIDS is a retrovirus right?

i

Does anybody know when we actually get our scores back?

bacteria infecters are phages and AIDS is a retrovirus.

That immune system question from the M section stumped me as well. I put something like "already existing lymphocytes make lots of antibodies".

Afruff- I'm almost positive that's the correct answer.

scores come in 2 1/2 weeks, oddly enough before APs

afruff, your correct. the answer was retrovirus and that the cells proliferate (yes it was that word, i remember it lmao) and create the specific cells that can destroy the antigens. they already exist.

Oh and what about the student's breath lab questions??? it was like what tubes would be correct to see that the studen'ts breath acted like acid or whatever or some crap like that. was it the tubes with the other substance? for example, if it said studen'ts breath compared to acid, would the answer be test tubes with the acid and the tube with the breath??

i hope that made sense lmfao

for the liver question...wut was it? and wut was the choices? does anyone remeber? thanks

did the question ask like...which one of these functions do the liver NOT do....cuz i remeber i wrote down making blood....but if thats for like one of the things the liver did do...then i got it wrong lol...anyone?

It was what did the liver not do. The answer was making blood.

Choices were:
-production of bile
-detoxification
-storage of glucose
-???
-making blood

Yep yep making red blood cells.
If you still want them the answers was something like:
A) making bile
B) something
C) detox
D) deammonization of urea or some bull like that
E) making red blood cells*****

***- right answer
