OFFICIAL SAT ii PHYSICS!

we'll start talking soon, but i just wanted to start a thread :)

Kind of difficult. I left five blank, and guessed on about five.

Very hard.

The hardest thing ever. Totally unexpected, Barrons did not prepare me at all. Omitted about 20 because I couldn't finish the last ten on time. Probably guessed on like 5-8. Yeah, I'm screwed. I might have a chance for a 700.

that s*hit was hard... i just finished pre-ap physics this year and some of the stuff i kno i didnt learn no clue what i got (except i didnt get an 800 obviously)

A friend of mine took the test today, he signed up for it blindly and later found out this test goes into AP Physics. Then yesterday, he found out they didn't give you any of the formulas either =P

Part of me feels schadenfreude for him, and the other knows from these comments that there will be a large curve.

yeah probly i kno it does go some into ap physics. i wud have thought it was easy if i had studied more than 2 days. i'll just retake in october when i can actually read through the book thoroughly.

well isn't the curve really easy for physics? if you miss a lot you can still get eight hundred. lol

i went in to that without AP Physics yet and discovered why my physics teacher told me to wait until the beginning of next year to take it! skipped 11. and last night i got a 620 on a practice test....not good!

Did it seem to you guys that some of the questions seemed to ask like the exact same thing as a question one or two before it?

yeah what was up wit that

yeah i felt the same, Eravial08

Took this today, as I like physics, but I studied all the wrong things.

Tough, very tough. Not that I got none, but at least four-five guesses. Phew...

Yeah, it was tough and it was annoying how the questions were repeated quite a bit. Sadly I had to skip 5 in a row due to this because that was a particular section I was weak on. I skipped like 12 total. I really hope I get a 700. The Princeton Review says u need about a 42 raw score (out of 75) to get a 700...

whew, if everyone thought it was hard maybe there will be a niceee curve?

i left 3 blank and guessed on a couple. if i want an 800 for sure should i not cancel?

My PR book says the curve for an 800 is around 60/75. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but I'm pretty sure you've got an 800 if you didn't miss more than 10 or so.

very hard . The bad thing was that the hardest questions were right in the middle of the test 30-50. then 50-75 they were very easy. i had only 15 minutes for the last 25 questions. Skipped about 4, probably many mistakes :) . Let's hope for a nice curve !

any questions you guys aren't sure about?

i know i got the quasar wrong -_-

"A quasar (contraction of QUASi-stellAR radio source) is an extremely bright"

first sentence on wikipedia lol

I think the answer to that one was that they were formed at the beginning of the universe. By the way, how is an electron microscope focused?
