Official SAT Subject Test - Biology E/M - June 2015

I thought the question said limbs and feet, and dolphins definitely don’t have feet

@CGlynn what do you mean yes for marsupials?

Yep, that’s the one!

@asiankid88 It had two parts. Long gestation period and non fully developed young.

@CGlynn Yeah, they have a long gestation and not fully developed… but for the hair, dolphins definitely don’t use hair for insulation so I’m a bit confused on that one

@RybkaShredder limbs “or” feet

@asiankid88 Thing is I don’t think dolphins are even marsupials, lol. They’re mammals for sure, but I don’t think they’re maruspials

@Necrosympath nope, they’re not marsupials for sure… but the question said which of the following is true for the mammals or marsupials

Was there an answer choice that had to do with a fluid filled sac?

placental mammals or marsupial mammals

well, what do you guys think the answer is. it’s either fully developed or hairs

@RybkaShredder Yeah it was that question. For the SAP question did you say Virus?

It was the developed thing. I know for a fact.

@Mathlover314 virus

What about the PTH question. If the gland was removed, the amount of the hormone would decrease, correct?

@CGlynn do you remember the wording for the developed answer?

@Mathlover314 Yes. And then I said calcium decrease with no gland (cause no hormone means no calcium going to blood from bones) and then body would activate mechanisms to get more calcium.

@asiankid88 No sorry

@goodlife12 the mutation question was inversion

I said inversion
and I said the one about fully developed young for the marsupial and placental mammals.
