Official SAT Subject Test - Biology E/M - June 2015

I said sensory because it said nerves. Im not sure

Yea i got that too

it was 1/16

That makes sense. I thought that that question was slightly unfair. because even with a duplication, you would have to have a second mutation…

And yes @Boltingflame I got 1/16th too!

I just took a molecular biology class this school year so it really paid off :stuck_out_tongue:

The parathyroid was trying to trick you. Did you guys get: decrease PTH if removed, decreased calcium if removed, body would activate mechanisms to increase calcium.

so it was substrate and not density of burrows? Oh and how would you tell if those two crabs are actually different species?

@Saburo DNA sequence

yes, DNA sequence comparison

@CGlynn I got the same as you for the first and third… I can’t remember what I put for calcium.

@Saburo It had to be decreased calcium since more PTH=more calcium

What did you guys put for the epithelial tissue one?

How many would you guess that I could miss to still be in the 700s?

I believe the epithelial one was many tight junctions

Hello everyone, for biology M, there was a question about incomplete dominance, but there were 2 choices of that.
I picked B, but second thinking, i think i got it wrong.
Does anyone remember?

calvin cycle was CO2

@CGlynn Do you remember any of the other options for that one?

I think it was B. One was incomplete dominance, and the other was complete dominance

I got incomplete and complete. Pretty positive that that is right.
