@gxiy12 There’s no E in my book. @topaz1116 lol that’s ridiculous.
@JuicyMango If you put your head down and minimize distractions, then it most certainly is.
Do we need to know how to calculate bond energies??
@OnAHyperbola does that mean the score i get on princeton is probably going to be similar to what I get on the test? :0
Is there an online PDF of barrons or any of the barrons practice tests online?
How do I study for the lab questions? I get most of the lab questions in Barrons wrong
790 on Princeton’s 2nd test, I hope they are realistic
Are you guys able to get the sparknotes test?
@harsh98 i dont think so… You should know that if a molecule has triple bonds than the atoms are closer together than a molecule that has double bonds and etc.
@bantzking I wouldn’t worry, nothing remotely similar to the lab questions in Barron’s appeared on the May one.
@Frigidcold Thanks for the info. Those lab questions are difficult.
@bantzking Yea those barron lab questions kill me the most.
HELP!!
So I only used Barron, I’m almost done now (only organic Chem left), and I didn’t see anything about flame color and stuff like that, but I know that it’ll be and had been on the tests!!
What are some other topics that Barron doesn’t have that are supposed to be on the real test??? And where can we get info on those topics???
Thanks for any help!!!
@tina23 Those are at the end of the book in the lab sections.
Ahh hopefully a 780 on Barron’s is at least somewhat similar to an 800 on the real thing… I really, really want that score. Most of my mistakes are silly mistakes whoops.
@thatasianguy115 If you are taking multiple tests on the same day, all scores will be canceled if you decide to cancel one of them.
Lmao, I just took my fourth test in Barrons and got 75/85 so I got 800. That was an easy test after having reviewed all my wrong answers from the previous tests.
@allista: That is dumb of CollegeBoard in my opinion. You should have the choice to cancel one score and keep the other.
Also, does anyone know (maybe someone who took the real test) the accurate conversion chart from Barrons chem tests to the real tests? I feel like the required 75/85 for an 800 is way to lenient considering the actual score required for an 800 is around 82/85. I know Barrons is hard, but how much harder? Maybe you can also post the barrons test scores that you got and your actual score?
@JuicyMango Let’s just say that we’re all sick of the CollegeBoard’s shenanigans and mind games by now…
The curve for this test and TF section are the main things that are worrying me.
@JuicyMango at least based off of the official College Board test:
Barron’s (in order of practice test; I still haven’t taken the fourth): 730, 750, 780
College Board: 790
Barron’s is actually quite a bit harder (although my Barron’s scores can, in part, be attributed to my tendency to make silly mistakes).
