Hi everyone! Couldn’t find a USH June SAT thread so thought I’d go ahead and create one! Less than 5 days to the exam. How are you all studying? Do you feel prepared?
don’t know how to study
A lot of people said that the May one was extremely hard. I wonder what that means for our test…
I feel really unprepared. I know general concepts and everything cause of APUSH, but the SAT2 is supposed to be really specific
yeah, the sat subject test is a lot more in depth than the ap test
how are y’all reviewing?
I’ve been reading the Barron’s prep book for the past week or so, and I’m hoping to finish it tonight. It’s so specific though, and the practice tests are insane. I don’t know how accurate it is in comparison to the real test.
has anyone who has taken this test before want to share their experiences?
Just take WH it’s easier.
I give up. I’ve been reading a ton of stuff for the last 2 weeks and still feel like I know none of this. I took APUSH this year also. Should be interesting tomorrow.
Yep. This is how I currently feel. Did great in the APUSH class and feel like I at least got a 4 on the exam, but the stuff on the subject test was definitely not covered under the test. Should be interesting. My only hope is that due to this change, the curve will be much greater than usual. Say maybe like -12 or -13 can still be an 800.
Yeah I took a few free practice tests that I found online and am doing pretty bad compared to my scores on APUSH MCQs. I don’t like how in depth and specific the SAT II questions are Good luck tomorrow everyone!! Hopefully it’s not too bad.
From what I’ve heard and read, Barron’s tests are insanely more difficult than the actual test. I can only hope, though… I’ve been using Barron’s for the past 2 weeks and I’m scoring in the 600s on their practice tests but I really want 750+
I’ve take an Us history course and studied with Barron’s this past 4 days but it’s insanely specific and I’ve done poorly on its practice tests (640). I read though that it’s harder than the actual thing. Do you think I could still get a 770+ ?
So Ive taken a few diagnostic tests for us history for the sat 2 and i have found that alot of the information i do not know. I was in APUSH so everything I know is fresh in my mind, but I feel like in APUSH we never got into the degree of specificity that the SAT II gets into. Like everything my class did atleast was focused around what we need to know for the AP test so I feel like some details might be overlooked that would help me on this test. Does anyone else who has taken APUSH and the ush subject test or is about to take the subject test feel the same way?
Anyone know about the McGraw Hill book? I have been scoring low to mid 700’s on that, and the tests were SO specific. I only scored one 790 on the 6 tests I took.
what do you guys think will be on the test? anything to do at the last minute to help get over 700+??
The McGraw Hill Book is a joke.
Its practice tests are 98% filled with questions about old movies or books or songs.
My friend and I looked through one of the practice tests in that book and I can say I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.
good luck everyone!
What was that
