<p>Re: decision link. It appears that some folks are able to get OASIS information. Mine still gives me NO info. I was on forward-now the forward part isn’t even there-only fin aid stuff. Does anyone know of another link to go to check what the “status” is besides USConnect-That has never worked for me. Thxs</p>

<p>Mitch: Chapman, Loyola Marymount (Both Chap and LMU Film Programs) Cal State SF , Cal State Northridge, Cal State Long Beach, other schools as fillers (not film schools), Portland State U (New BFA in film starting there this coming September), UBC-never sent the rest of the stuff in after getting accepted to Chapman. Rejected by UCLA, but no big deal on that as you don’t get accepted to Film until Jr. year. And the BIG one remains to be seen, but not looking good !</p>

<p>I got a DHL notification (dated 3/25) I’m not certain that I got anything for SCA. Funnily enough though the backdoor link doesn’t work and I was forwarded up until this morning when it changed to "being reviewed (3/27). So mine’s a bit odd I suppose. </p>
<p>And also don’t lose hope…I was looking through last year’s thread and apparently they can and still do accept folks for SCA as spring admits (that include production). There was a thread on here somewhere on the subject, but since USC doesn’t have waiting lists if they fill up their slots they may admit spring. Also, people were being accepted up until march 31st. So I’d keep your chin up.</p>
<p>@themitchster, I looked at your materials and they were quite unique like I told you, so I wouldn’t count you out just yet. </p>

So here’s hoping for good news for the two of you. @everyone–do you think they have decided not to interview the remaining candidates? No one else has mentioned being interviewed since the first wave back in early March. Correct?</p>
<p>@shicko…sounds positive. Another international (Canada) got the DHL message on the 25th and got in to USC for Theater (2nd choice)…did you list a 2nd choice? Also, it could just be that SCA made their dec. on you a while ago but USC Admissions needed time to make their dec. Seems many of the internationals were hearing this week. Where are you in Asia? Too bad DHL does not work on Sat. or Sun…can’t wait to hear from you on Monday</p>
<p>@quwayo…I have not seen any more posts showing anyone being interviewed…and the only ones on the CC list for production who have gotten in did have interviews…but I do know Taylor29 (posted on another thread) did get in to production and did not have an interview. </p>
<p>It will be interesting to see if Smilelove and Stressmom6 get in…their status is in the right progression but they were not interviewed…only a few more days and everyone will know.</p>
<p>Where did my “admission status” in Oasis go? This is really bugging me. It has been off for two days now. Anyone having this same situation? Backdoor is back on-“invalid login” still there.</p>
<p>Hi kids! I haven’t posted before, but I’ve been following all your posts. Somehow my son seems immune to all this–he just wants to wait for the snail mail and he doesn’t want to think about it. But I’m dying to know what will happen…</p>
<p>Just thought I’d share his status. He applied only for production and didn’t even get forwarded until 3/25. He’s been stuck there since. </p>
<p>I might just throw up my hands, as some of you seem to be doing–but I think he has a really strong application. He’s already gotten into NYU film, and he received a nice scholarship from Chapman. </p>
<p>None of the backdoor links are working for him. Still, I’d be surprised if he wasn’t a good production candidate–even though nothing on the app link websites are giving me that impression. I could be wrong, but I’m still hopeful for him.</p>
<p>Just thought I’d post for those of you who are still waiting. I don’t think you should give up hope just because your app doesn’t seem to follow the same pattern as others’ apps. Who knows what it all means?</p>

<p>Does anyone know how many total students ae typically accepted each year for Film Production? I know that its a really small number accepted into the Screen Writing BFA but does anyone know how many total students are accepted each year and how many are currently in the Film Production major? THANKS!!</p>
<p>@momhere: No second choice here…so I guess it’s either SCA or undecided for me. </p>
<p>@rosie: I had read somewhere that they accept 50 for film production but I could be wrong, I believe someone posted a few pages ago that roughly 11 got in (that have reported online)</p>
