Scores will be on your account Sep 24 - Nov 2. They give a really big margin haha

For the question #27 about the purpose of the writer:

“I have to believe that imagining a story will somehow help people to imagine a way around difficulty. And that by encouraging a sense of hope, some woman, some man, will exercise their imagination in a way we could not have foreseen and that will be our blessing and our release from pessimism. Somebody will see a different way to do things. Stories, in some way, work as blueprints for the imagination.”

“So when I say a literature of hope, I mean a literature that gives you the opportunity to be hopeful about your own circumstances or circumstances for your family or your larger community.”

These quotes make it seem that his purpose of writing is to spark imagination in the reader.

@usamopro, of course I understood that. You’re right, any good reader should be able to. What I said was that after she said she was tired of the “ovals” (tracks), she said she was looking forward to riding in the mountains. This makes sense, since she was tired of the same old thing. She explicitly stated she would be going to the mountains later that week. I’d appreciate it if you weren’t so condescending in your reply.

@ballislife. I agree that he wants to spark imagination in the reader. I was going to choose that (D) as an answer choice, but there was a one part that bothered me. The wording of the choice D was something like, “He wanted to escape from real life by sparking imagination to the reader”. I wasn’t sure, in fact, i am sure, that He did not become writer to “escape”

What did the girl and her grandfather share? (passage 1)

I’m so desperate to see my scores. forreal. I’m used to finding out how I did within a few minutes after the test since I grade them myself :P

@wcclirl444: I was asking about the CHOICES, not the answer. I wanted to remember what I chose.
Please, read the response before putting someone down and making yourself look like an idiot.

How do you Guys think the curve will be?

@The Nexus: Are you sure? I think I put a love for horses.

What was the answer to the question in the seed passage asking about which statement can best be supported by the passage?

@marcut that’s what I put

I’m hoping that the curve for 36 will be at least 59-60 if not 58-60 simply due to the number of horribly worded questions that this section had.
