but what was the probability question with answer 1/3n?

@elizabeth, when you are finding the area of a triangle it’s height times half of base, or height times base over 2. So you did it correctly, but you forgot to divide by two.

thanks! that was a stupid mistake by me!

Any definitive answer for the one that had a table with production times? Answers were inequalities. I had A.

I’ll take 3-4 wrong :)

Is anybody else sure that (v/lw) - d was answer choice D and not E? My friend who practically has an eidetic memory said it was E.

It was definitely D

definitely D. but what was the question with an answer of 1/3n?

also what about the asymptote question? was it 101/103 and can anyone remember if that was choice C or D?

I thought it was A?

I also remember it being A.

IT was A. y =(101x/103x), if the exponent of x are the same, you divide the co-efficients. So it was 101/103. If the x value is greater on top than bottom, doesn’t exist and if greater on bottom than top, y=0.

deja vu. Guys. most of this stuff has been answered on the first few pages lol.

so what do you guys think 3-4 wrong will come out to?

-3 or -4 will most likely be 32 and 30 respectively.

Sillyup the curve is not going to be that harsh. The April 2013 test had a curve of (I know because I ordered my test back and it came with the curve):

-1 = 36
-2 = 35
-3/-4 = 34
-5 = 33
-6 = 32
-7 = 31
-8 = 30
-9/-10 = 29
-11/-12 = 28

This test was honestly much harder toward the end than the April 2013 test. The first 50 or so problems were a good bit easier, so I assume the curve will be roughly the same as April if not better.

@sillyup
that curve seems a little harsh, doesn’t it? I took a released test last week with a much easier math section and a -4 earned me a 34.

i think the curve will actually be pretty generous. i felt the june test was of equal difficulty maybe slightly easier and i know i got at least 7 wrong and wound up with a 30

I’m expecting -3 to be a 34/35, -4 to be a 33/34, and -5 to be a 33.

awesome! Thanks, guys.
