Official September ACT Score Thread (now available)

@shnn227, same score as you. Very frustrating…need/wanted 34. Since S is a junior, we’ll let this one simmer a bit. Good luck to you if you decide to take it again :)

I hate myself. One point on science I would have a 33 :(

Do engineering colleges look at just Eng/Math?

English: 34
Math: 33
Reading: 34
Science: 35
Writing: 10
Composite: 34

Totally was expecting a 32, maybe a 33 at best. My life is seriously made.

I haven’t gotten my Writing subscore yet. Can a low writing score drop my English score and drop my composite score? Or is only the English score without the essay factored into the composite?

33 english
35 math
31 reading
35 science
34 composite
im soooooooo happy:))))))))))))

The latter. However, they do give you Eng/Writing which is not factored into Comp but some colleges look at it. Or so they say hahaha

English 35
Mathematics 33
Reading 35
Science 31
Composite Score: 34

I missed 7 on math but still got a 33. What a strange curve.

English 34
Math 31 (sooo happy with this)
Reading 33 (susbcores of 17. Guess the curve was really harsh?)
Science 34
Composite 33.
Writing ?

English: 35
Mathematics: 32
Reading: 34
Science: 34
Composite: 34

I couldn’t be happier. I went up from a 32 composite, 30 math, and 29 science. This is awesome. Congrats, everyone :D

I’m happy. I’ve improved enough to the point where no school will look down on my test scores. And now I can confidently apply ED at Duke! (And by confidently I mean that testing won’t be detrimental to my application)

composite 35
E: 35
M: 35
R: 34
S: 36

I’m ecstatic. My composite went from a 33 to a 35, science went from a 29 to a 36, and math went from a 32 to a 35. And my superscored composite is now a 36. Yay!!! :)

@holsen, how’d you improve math so much?

Composite: 36

English: 36

Math: 35
Science: 36

Shaking right now. So ecstatic! Congrats to everyone else on your great scores as well! :)

@ketann I just took every practice test I could find. I think I took about 8 in total. The first time I took it was with no prep just to see how it went, and the second time around I was pretty determined to get a 34+. But with regards to your question I’m still not really sure! :P

@impressionistic

Wow. Congratulations, that’s awesome :D

Ahhh I’m an international student and can’t access the scores yet. Is any other international person having trouble?
