<p>what time were the results posted on the siemens website last year? I've convinced myself (sort of) not to worry about it until like 15 minutes before it comes out, so if someone could give me an approximate time i'd REALLY appreciate it :). (p.s. i'm in the west).</p>

<p>Add it to the awards list! :) Regional finalists get to move on to the six regional competitions, but I assume everyone will get a letter/certificate, etc.</p>

<p>In the past it's been, 2004: digital camera, 2005: ipod shuffle, 2006: 1gb zen v plus.</p>

<p>yes, accolade-wise, semifinalists receive the same as the regional finalists except for the scholarship, a particular gift from the school, the medal, and the prestige.</p>

<p>I got on regional finalist list. Feel cool about it. But lot of work to be done before my EA app is due.
Wanted to ask you guys - what does it mean for the college applictaion process?
How do the colleges evaluate these regional finalist awards? as you see, the colleges wont know the next step results before the EA process. </p>

<p>Can I hear from the last year regional Finalists if it helped them to get into their top choice schools?</p>

<p>has anyone's school gotten their banner yet? if so, what does it look like, and who got it (principal, guidance, etc)? i'd really like to at least have the banner for, you know, "posterity," but my school seems to have missed this event entirely.</p>

<p>ya my school's banner has been hanging in the main hall for quite a few weeks now. It's like 8 feet by 2.5 feet or something like that.</p>
