I’m pretty sure they care just as much if not more about the essays though!

Not sure if I saw this posted somewhere: “Note: SIMR decisions will be emailed on FRIDAY, APRIL 4th around 5pm (PST).”

Ugghhhh

Does that mean that they won’t be calling the people who get in like previous years? Or were the phone calls only for people who live in the area?

I think they will still call. That’s just saying results will come out through email regardless ( you don’t get a call if you’re rejected)

2 days!!

gaah that makes it the 5th in the morning where i’m from can’t wait

I wish they wouldn’t call because then you automatically know you haven’t gotten in.

I believe it’s also at around 5 pm pst. At least that’s what it says on the website and it was around that time last year.

It’ll be nerve-racking each time the phone rings!

I’m nervous, but I know that this won’t make or break me

Did anyone else apply to the Arthritis Foundation Summer Science Internship Program? It also comes out on Friday

If they call you, what if you don’t pick up?

They email you in addition to calling you so you’ll just see the email

I applied to that as well :(

It’ll all be OK…

Is there a thread for that program? I have no clue about it except that it’s also open to college students and they only take 12 people

@ankwen Yeah I’m not feeling so good about that one… or SIMR… I’m guessing you’re bay area or around there?

Yeah, around there.

As the day approaches, I’m getting nervous, but I guess I can’t really expect to get in if there are so many qualified applicants and only so many spots!

did anyone get any calls yet?!

Or do all calls go out on Friday as well?

@Yonkers12 I think they go out Friday, but I’m not sure. i’m not even at home! -_-
