<p>A bit off topic, but how heavily does HS performance affect spring transfers? If you had a 3.0 in HS but a 4.0 in college first semester…than? I am looking to transfer, and the earlier the better but I also want to have the best chances possible.</p>

<p>University of Rochester takes spring transfer students. The deadline is Oct 1 for spring 2012 (but obviously it’s better to apply ASAP).</p>
<p>U Rochester and U VA both accept srping transfer but currently the supplement is not available online yet so no way to apply ASAP</p>
<p>ASAP= as soon as possible, whenever that may be and I think you should be able to start an application at Rochester through the school’s website now, even if it’s not possible to submit everything (Common App, supplement) right away.</p>

<p>Anyone have input on this? The way I see it, I think it’s practically impossible for rising freshmen. First semester grades usually come out during winter break and if you are looking to enter in January of 2012…you know what im saying?</p>
