Cornell and USC are the only big ones I know off other than the ones you posted.

does usc take spring 2012 transfers?? i remember noticing that they didnt list a deadline for such transfer…ill check again

i would like to know if usc accepts spring transfers as well

USC does NOT accept spring transfers. he made a mistake saying that they do.

Please forgive me if this seems a little obvious but…
“In an effort to streamline our application process, USC will begin accepting the Common Application in late summer 2011 for 2012-2013 admissions.”

So they mean for Fall 2012?

USC sometimes accepts people for spring if they’re rejected as a fall transfer.

I think all of these allow spring transfers:
Boston University
Boston College
UMich
NYU
Brown
UPenn
University of Washington
University of Vermont
Northwestern
Cornell

UMD has a priority deadline of August 1 and a regular deadline of November 15

I never noticed there was no edit button here But, sorry, UPenn only allows fall admission.

Brown does indeed allow Spring admission, but you must apply the same time as the students applying for Fall admission. He wanted schools where you apply in Fall and are accepted for the following spring.

And yes, I was mistaken. USC only takes students for Spring as a overflows: you can’t actually apply for Spring, they’ll put you in it if you don’t fit in the Fall semester but they still want you.

Does anyone know if it’s easier to get into Cornell for spring (vs. fall)?

UVA has spring transfer, but the deadline to apply is changing from Nov. 1 to Oct. 1 (presumably to accommodate all the applications from EA, which is starting next year as well).

WashU allows spring transfers as well.

Does Rice accept spring transfers?

Cornell engineering school does not take spring transfers.

No, Rice does not take Spring transfers.

Rutgers New Brunswick :)

Only some schools at Rutgers allows spring transfers.

Is it true that most schools take less students during the Spring? Also how hard is it to get a fee waiver for the application.
