** Official Stanford SCEA Countdown Thread**

38 more days!!!!!!!

what will you do if you get in?

I've already decided that I'm not doing any of my homework and instead going out to dinner with my friends (who hopefully get into stanford, brown, yale, MIT, penn, and uchicago early along with me).

is it true that they've been sending them out early (around december 12th) ?

that would be amazing! otherwise, waiting that last weekend (december 13-14) will be especially difficult!

good luck, guyss

So do they also send the rejection letters on dec. 12th, or only earlier acceptance letters? I want to have a few days to lower my expectations if I don't get anything by the 12th, and I can't do that if they also send the rejection letters early

honestly i really just think they're going to admit everyone who applies this year
it's just a prediction!

if only.. what do you guys think the % accepted will be for SCEA this year?

Oprah! I hope so too! At least everyone on CC!

Haha Same
Spend a lot of money and hopefully celebrate with my other friends who did early admission.
Probably then have a reallllly goooood holiday.

if I get into Stanford EA, I don't need a single other Christmas present. That would be plenty for me

Oprah: I definitely second that!

I third that. :)

Is it true that none of the deferred applicants last year got accepted?

Oh, and has anyone received a confirmation email from Stanford? (not from common app)
One of my friends got an email from the admissions, saying "thanks for applying... we look forward to reviewing your app... etc."
I'm kinda worried cuz I didn't get one.

I didnt get one either
good, because i was worried too

I'm another SCEA...

You know, I thought about the following "Five words to describe me" :

Altruistic Diligent Motivated Interested Thoughtful...

You know, like an acrostic...

/\ that's pretty good, i wonder if they'll pick up on that

Hahahahahahaha
i should have thought of that!!!!

I will be scared of checking my email on Dec 12th or Dec 15th.........

i'm forwarding the acceptance/rejection letter to my friends and seeing who wants to break the news to me whether it be reject/accept.

Is anyone else getting nervous by reading amazing chance threads? -_-
And awesome. I love support groups.

Last year they had the word "Congratulations" in the subect line for those who were accepted early

If i open my email dec 12 and see congratulations in the subject i think my head will explode.
what does the subject line say if you get rejected? "Sorry but the thing you have been dreaming about for the last 4 years has been denied"
