OFFICIAL Tufts University Class of 2014 RD Applicants

S2 was accepted. Thanks, Dan!

^^Drewall - congrats on Wake Forest.
Frankly, the point shouldn’t be whether they are ranked the same, because they are both great schools and these rankings really need to be taken with (at least) a grain of salt; the issue should be whether you are psyched about WF, which it seems you are, and THAT’S what’s great.
Good luck at WF, or wherever else you might get in.

sissykitty- What’s the deal with “mom’s going to kill me”?

I got in! They let in at least four people from my school, including a pair of twins, I’m surprised.

they let in no one from my school because only I applied!!! Lol

waitlisted. eh that’s okay. i have some other options i’m quite happy with. congrats to those that got in!

WOWWWW waitlisted, it looks like I’ve come down with a SEVERE case of tufts syndrome. Good riddance.

Rejected. Gah.

I’m curious - those of you that did get accepted, what did you choose for your optional essay, if you did one? Did you write something or do the video?

when do we get the email notifications? I don’t have my TAMS username or password

i literally have no idea what optional essay i wrote… and i got in! woot

I did a video. It will be interesting to see if more of those who submitted a youtube video got in than those who didn’t.

Yay I got accepted! I’m so excited!

Sonicemi, I made a mini origami crane (about 5 mm long) for my optional essay, and in another essay I wrote about my fascination with tiny things, and wanting to study molecular biology. Yeah, strange, I know, but apparently it didn’t hurt my app too much :D

-unless I am misapprehending the intent of your post, that was remarkably graceless and arrogant. You had 1410/1600 on your SATs; fine scores to be sure, but hardly overwhelming at Tufts.
I wish you the best of luck wherever you decide to go - and I’m sure that you will have very appealing choices - but I hope that as you move on with your education you also develop the maturity to avoid the kind of comments you made in that post.

Hey congratulations to all those who were accepted!

For others like myself: have a read at this article. Food for thought :)

@sonicemi - I sent a video and I got accepted, but it was obvious that it was not a video I created specifically for the application.

Also, I’ve already gotten my email notification. I use gmail btw.

oh, thank you. I still haven’t received an email :(

what exactly is tufts syndrome?

for those accepted… is your financial aid package mia like mine?

I was waitlisted, but already accepted to Carnegie Mellon so I did not care until

What emotions?

4th waitlist. What the ****?
