na, majority of CS people haven’t heard back
Has anyone heard back for Social Policy and Public Service?
just wondering, are there gonna be batches everyday or is it just randomly whenever they want. . .
@Harps101 I’m pretty sure you got to go to math department and fill up some paperwork to apply for double major and they will consider you if you qualify ( like most colleges do)
My last name starts with A, and I haven’t heard back, so last name theory fails.
They are definitely not going by major - a lot of deserving CS people are still waiting.
And definitely not by GPA - mine is 3.8, and still nothing.
I am out of ideas guys, I think it’s pretty random. Maybe they split all apps into an equal number of “stacks” and just process 1 “stack” a day… Idk. I just hope if this is the case, I am not in the last one.

they also released some engineering majors today by email, i know from overheard conversations lol.
and i dont think this person had a high/perfect GPA so def not that. i have no idea what their last name is. i know another engineering who had already heard back but i dont know how far back, they might have done TAG though. they have a low/average GPA.
and since i havent heard back, i don’t think it’s region based either. probably just random.
i submitted my application on the last day, that could be a possibility ?
@TransferCS possibly, though mine is 276***** I would probably hear by now.

@TransferCS @lenocturne I doubt it. I have the same UCI id number from last year (high school applicant last year) I have numbers in 914*****. I think the letter sendouts is random or by department.

Cs is my alternate major. Two years ago it was my major and I was waitlisted. I have my igetc done and now I have software engineering as my major.
3.75 gpa cs major. I TAG’d but did not hear back in March so something probably went wrong
@calbee I believe March was only for freshman applicants. All transfer, TAG or not, should be hearing back April 1-30.
Accepted to UCI with 3.91 GPA for Psych & Social Behavior, and the regents scholarship!
I’m a third year transfer but I heard back on March 14th. I had no idea people were still hearing back now!
Still waiting on Davis, Cal, and UCLA.
