<p>Anyone knows whether uci business admin apecializing in Accounting will fulfill the units requirement for CPA exam?
and if I want to do accounting related job, should I choose business admin or business econ in UCI?</p>
<p>What does the UCI admission package in mail contain? It has been a week since I was admitted, but I only got a envolope contains two paper saying something about regent’s scholarship, nothing else? There should be another package on the way, right?</p>

UCI has great business programs. A lot of OC/LA companies recruit down there. You could also do the accounting minor.</p>
<p>According to the link UCkittychen provided, many of the admissions came out after 6:00 pm. Hope that means something to us as well.</p>

Im so glad to hear that. lol. Now my major is business admin, UCI said I cannot choose minor in Accounting as in business school. Instead, I can choose to specialize in accounting, which still give me the access to many accounting courses.</p>

<p>wow… I thought UCI Business Admin. only accepts small amount of students; therefore, “requires” like 3.9 GPA. Are they accepting more students this semester?</p>
<p>^Honestly, 3.9 is more on par with Cal or something. 3.7 sounds about right. Wouldn’t be surprising if UCI started accepting more for Business Admin. as time goes by…it is a pretty new program.</p>

<p>I believe some…small amount of non-taggers were admitted in the first batch but none in the second.</p>

<p>Yes, the first batch was those admitted to the Campus-wide Honors program, some of them tagged UCI, some didn’t.</p>
<p>i guess the “good” thing about UCI is that they’re not throwing around dates while making us wait like UCSD. haha. They’re getting my hopes up on a decision then they crush it a few days later.</p>
<p>i didn’t do tag. transferring as psych. major, i have 3.3 GPA. i did few hours outside activity such as AGS & being a sunday school teacher for some time. completed all the golden 4, and will complete my IGETC this spring. do i stand a chance? 13 days to find out
