I checked myUCR last night and it changed from four or five tab to two, is that bad sign ? But on home page says…

@hmm2014 it doesn’t look too promising when that happens because you’re suppose to have more than 2 tabs if you get accepted, but you never know until your decision comes out!

BTW for anyone who gets rejected from UCR or any other college that you believe you should’ve gotten into, PLEASE look over your UC application again. I got rejected from UCR and was curious about why. I looked over my app and noticed that I made a mistake on my courses. I appealed and got in! Always double check!!

Did anyone else SIR to UCR yet? If so, after you selected the tab to accept admission on GROWL did anyone receive an email? I just submitted it, but I have no way of confirming it. The page just says my SIR has been submitted.

So I visited UCR last weekend, and I didn’t like it at all. I understand that academically its a good school, but I didn’t see any exciting social aspect…

@sophie8290 Agree. It only takes me a 10-15 minute drive from my house, and I would basically require no loans living at home if I went to UCR. I took a visit last month and was really disappointed.

Campus is huge and nice but the social atmosphere just feels dead (which I do not care much for but it did bothered me). I also did not like the areas around UCR. Another thing is the weather. Even though I’m use to the weather, still do not like how hot it can get down there.

Nonetheless, it’s a great school academically and has a nice campus.

@Ragtime The problem might be that your account is not linked. Go to MyUCR, and under the tab “my profile” there should be three tabs, account settings, personal information, and a third one(it no longer shows it on mine), anyway, fill out the info there.

I had the same problem, and as soon as I linked it, I was able to SIR.

@Ragtime, I’m kind of on the same boat as you with a 3.0 GPA psychology major and haven’t heard from them either. Called admissions and they told me that I should know some time this month. Have you heard anything?

for those of you who got accepted. what are your thoughts on living on campus – off campus? where do you guys plan to live? I am a transfer students undecided on whether or not to live on campus. any comments is greatly appreciated.

@moniiique, I’m a psych major as well and haven’t heard anything. The same message about them reviewing many applications pops up but nothing else. What are you stats regarding your major? If you don’t mind me asking.

@Mellykelly29 not at all
Overall 3.0 GPA. I have previous coursework from SDSU that really screwed me. Major GPA 3.8
AA-T in Psychology. Missing math pre-req for the major. IGETC completed.

@Ragtime I think thats really strange! I thought the deadline to be notified was April 30th but I guess not. I have heard back from the other UCs I have applied for. I don’t know if I would even want to go to UCR if accepted after all this waiting… I already SIR’d one school.
