The form could mean that you got into a program there, but not your first choice. I’m more nervous about not seeing a form and wonder if that’s a flat out rejection altogether from all the options, including DGS.
@sparent15 most of us saw the form were not able to access it and now it is gone.
i hope i’m accepted to CS - dont want to end up with an acceptance to UIUC for DGS

I am rooting for all you applicants…my son is a junior and UIUC is his first choice–CS, like everybody else, it seems–so I’m watching everything to see if he has any kind of shot based on who gets in this year. Question–did any of you guys attend the “Exploring Your Options” summer thing at UIUC?

Fortunately, my kid doesn’t even get out of school until 315, so he will get home with only about 15 minutes to deal with this wait. Says he is ok if he doesn’t get in. I don’t think it’s worth going the DGS route only in hopes that you may be able to transfer in later, especially if you have a direct admit to other highly regarded CS programs - i.e. Texas, Michigan or Purdue.
