*Official UNC Fall 2010 Transfer Thread*

watch The Shawshank Redemption and then Good Will Hunting.

I would totally do that if I had both movies with me :(

I think I’m gonna pray it doesn’t take long to download The Fellowship of the Ring in HD and then watch it. 7.85 GB. Sheesh, lol.

Take a nap till 5?

where do we check at 5pm? the unc portal?

I hate that if we dont get our decisions (either everyone or be the small group that doesnt) we can’t call them until monday

they were probably like “hmm I don’t want to deal with these kids anymore, how about we post the decisions right at the end of the week so if there are any problems, they have a whole weekend to figure out themselves”

Or the e-mail you signed up with. That may only tell you that your status was changed, not if you were accepted or not…

Jocelyn: That’s the plan.

I think it’s smart of them. I wouldn’t want to be dealing with it either. They made their decision and they don’t really need to justify it. If I don’t get in or don’t receive my decision today, I’ll be just as torn as anyone, but I’m not going to call and complain.

We’re on the outside and they’re on the inside they don’t owe any of us anything remember.

Regardless, I wish everyone luck. I hope to see ALL of you in Chapel Hill.

Inglorious Bastards and then Pulp Fiction. I <3 Tarentino.

dang all the sorority girls out in their plastic yard pools throwin me gang signs in my pimp rental ford focus. holla! god bless hot weather and GRITS!

I’m still in A&P…Anyone want me to teach them all about the urinary system that we’re being dictated about right now?! Nephrons and ureters…hmm.

And I still don’t know what grits are after coming from Massachusetts almost 3 years ago. All I know is they look disgusting.

180 minutes…

I have been in two math classes today, so that preoccupied my mind a bit. I am about to go to a seminar course, and will most likely bring my laptop with me just in case the lecture goes over a bit… I should be done with all of my classes around 5pm. So I hope the next few hours passes by rather quickly. I bought sparkling juice (grape flavor), some tasty Italian bread and brie to eat if accepted. At lunch today I seen 2-3 people wearing Carolina shirts… I hope this is good foreshadowing. I hope we are all accepted.

and now just 177 . . .

176 now…

I think you should watch Good Will Hunting, Dabears. Living in Boston my entire life, it’s the first movie I’d ever seen where the actors (save for Robin Williams) got the Boston accent right. Great movie.

And I agree, grits too akin to Cream of Wheat for my taste. However, if son gets into UNC I will gladly give them another chance during move-in time!!

173 bottles a beah on the wall, 173 bottles a beah, you take one down, you pass it around . . .

Matt Damon=one of the greates actors of all time
Good Will Hunting=One of the best movies of all time

I’m about to explode. I want my decision now!!!

@CNU - Grindhouse ftw

@xMastemah - Two Towers is my fav. I own all of them. Try watching the extended versions!

GRITS is an acronym for Girls Raised In The South. It is also a popular Southern food. I’ve been in the South my entire life. I hate grits. It is tastes like a corn stalk threw up on a plate.

bingo. that’s what I meant by hot weather and grits…not the food. that’s just…weird.
