<p>okay i don’t know if this makes sense or not… But i’m guessing maybe the people who are applying for the first time have gotten an email, just to make sure you guys know the procedure (which I’m sure all of us know)… because i’ve applied before and haven’t gotten an email… but idk if this theory really makes any logical sense. just speculating.</p>

<p>mine is the first time as well and i got the how to view decision email…im getting really nervous. i also submitted mine early. how many people got this email versus the monday one? on the admissions blog it looks like the majority got the delayed email</p>

<p>@cand I got the email for today and I sent my app in Januaryish…sent in material by march… I’m just hoping it really IS today and not just a “oh we sent out the email to a few and figured everyone else would ask them because we want SOCIAL people in this school”.</p>
<p>I think they reviewed them in order in which they were completed on file.</p>
<p>They were going through each of them, and they haven’t been able to finish all.</p>
<p>So if you applied early and sent everything in than you will probably receive your decision in 26 minutes.</p>
<p>I still think they should have given everyone notice on the blog so everyone knew what was going on instead of working on speculation. I think UNC has been very unprofessional and organized in this process.</p>

<p>I got the delay email and I sent my application in November. All the materials were in by mid January(ish)…I don’t know if that’s late but that’s when I sent my stuff in.</p>
<p>Can I write a paper on you for tachycardia and anxiety attacks as an addition to my application before the next 20 minutes as a boost for myself? </p>
