Application

Essay
I felt really good about my common application essay, but less than confident on my Uncommon Supplement. It was the "story about a road" option. The story centered around a young native American boy who travels up river to find medicine for his father, the chief, and in surviving the journey "cures" his father's insecurity about handing over the position of chief to his son. He dies happy, essentially.

Recommendations
Well, I know that at least one teacher was authentic in scope and stylistic character, though I fear the other teacher and my counselor wrote the standard, generic recommendations that do little to impress.

Interview
I did not have an interview with this or any college.
