<p>i have still not heard either, im hoping that monday is not for rejections or defers. I find it hard to believe that it is because over 30 people applied from my school and only probably 10-12 find out already, and the people left are still good candidates for mich. And from my friends school, she had 23 that applied and only 2 heard back. Also, i called admissions yesterday, and the girl was sure that there was no way in which decisions were released, she said they were totally random and they had to do it in waves so the computer system did not crash. So i am keeping my fingers crossed for monday, and hoping there is still a chance for an acceptance!</p>
<p>As much as I wish decisions would come out today, it wont happen. Admissions office is closed today. Now everyone that hasn’t heard back has to wait through this weekend of hell.</p>

<p>Hey guys i just accpeted to OSU !!! but i dont give a ****… becuase i got deferred by U mich and now i cant breath… lol I also NYU stern hopefully but if i got seferred by u mich i got chance… i wish these guys would interview because I could express my feelign better than on paper… comon What are my chances in gettign accepted to U mich from deferred … dammit I even talkked to the presidents of Umich new investment banking club and he said that form my high stuff he would be happy to invite me … but i cant get into u mich first !!! i feel so bad… What can i do now can anybody plz help?</p>

<p>it seems like you are a really great candidate. it would be my guess that michigan however hasn’t been able to look past your act/sat scores - which are solid, but being from OOS the game is much more competitive.
michigan has the largest alumni community in the world. i don’t know where you live, but you have got to know an active member! try to get a meeting/interview with them, and i’m sure that they would be happy to write a letter to admissions on your behalf. are any of your family members prominent in the business world? if so they must have a partner or a client that is linked to michigan.
when applying to a school as competitive, and as much as a gamble as michigan… i personally feel its necessary to not have your application be the only voice in the matter.</p>
<p>Thanks for the response , I get what you are saying, actully my best friends brother graduate from LSA last year and he helped me a lot with the application and looked at my essyas a lot too becuase he knew what they were looking for. Can they write a letter to admissions??? i did not know that also i am not sure if it would be right for me to ask more of him ? idk thanks again and i am from OHIO and my parents work there and i got accepted yesterday so they are happy … but not me lol thanks again !!!</p>
