<p>eff michigan i mean if they are going to defer us at this point why didn’t they do so earlier so i could get it over with? it’d be beyond terrible if i get deferred/rejected after waiting for so long</p>
<p>i know how you guys feel, waiting is like torture. but personally, i think its better to just let the e-mail be a surprise, it really makes getting accepted feel more worth it, (which all of you will be!!! 
you guys all seem very qualified!!) so don’t stalk your e-mail just check it tmrw or something! :)</p>

<p>This is worse for you all than camping by your mailboxes! I cannot believe that one of the best universities in the world can’t get this done in a day (or 2 at most). Plus, the weekend in the middle is ridiculous. Hopefully, they will get this process more user-friendly for the Class of 2016. I’m sorry for all of you waiting and refreshing. Don’t universities know that about 99% of high schools have exams last week and this? Doesn’t that play in to the scheduling and method of notification? What a huge bummer for all of you…</p>

<p>I just joined this website. I have been reading this thread for a couple days bc I am as annoyed about not hearing from UMich as everyone else is. At first I thought it would be just me… but nope. its a lot of people. most of my friends have heard back…</p>
<p>I called today and the guy said they are sending out emails until 5pm everyday until the 23rd. I know that’s not really anything new… he also said they are random. hopefully we hear back soon… I’m in the middle of finals right now… and I really don’t want to ruin winter break with bad news from UMich.</p>
<p>@totothedog, im positive you guys are qualified, on the 17th i went to school feeling like i was gonna have a heartattack, and looking at it now i was so stupid to be so anxious!! just do something to keep your mind off of it, and if not umich im sure theres a BUNCH of other schools that you will love.</p>
<p>ive been paranoid, refreshing my email constantly for days now. we’ve waited for so long now, we only have to hold out tuesday wednesday and thursday though. trust me ive been as anxious as everyone else on here, but im just gonna forget about it and go play some COD, only one person from my school out of the 27 that applied, got a decision so far, so idk</p>
<p>I don’t get why U of M doesn’t have the capabilities of many other schools to notify everyone at one time, or at least in one wave by region. I hope the rest of the U of M runs better than their admissions office!</p>
<p>so I just called them again and asked if they could tell me when I will get my email. and the guy on the phone asked for my UM id number and said they will be sending my email TODAY. </p>
<p>There is hope to receive a decision today. They are still sending emails. He said it WILL be sent today, not it has been sent. Keep your fingers crossed everyone! Good luck to all</p>
<p>For some reason I’m starting to think that “releasing decisions every day up to 5 P.M.” secretly means “releasing decisions December 23rd at 4:59 P.M.” Evil Admissions.</p>
<p>@ collegechick I hope that you get yours today, as well as the rest of us. Considering that it’s almost 4, it’s hard not to lose hope, but you helped at least a little bit :)</p>

<p>So im not sure if this has already been talked about yet but a bunch of people from my school got answers from Michigan and some of us didnt. But all the people that heard back got in. Am I wrong to think that this cannot just be a coincidence. I have a 3.7 GPA unweighted and for SATs I have math: 770 English: 800 Writing: 760. SAT2s: Math: 750 and American 690. Ive taken 2 APs and gotten 4s on them and im currantly in 4 aps. I thought i was qualified but i just dont think it makes sense that no one that heard back in my school got defered or rejected. Maybe im overthinking it. can someone tell me if im crazy?</p>
