Is anyone else’s DuckWeb down?

Anyone gotten their decisions yet? I applied on 10/12 and when I visited the campus they told me that early action applicants would have their decisions by 12/15. I’ve been checking daily for the past week or so on DuckWeb and all it says is “Hollistic Application Review.” Hopefully O get a decision soon.

A handful of my friends that did early action have received their answers from Oregon, so I hope you hear back soon as well!

Decision: Accepted

ACT: 21
SAT: 1080 (Did not send)
GPA UW: 3.56

Also what am I supposed to do now that I got accepted, UO isn’t my top choice so I still have to wait until March for my top choice college to respond I know I have to reserve my spot but not confirm it so what should I do?

When did you apply? My application is still in holistic review and I applied on Oct 12… My stats for those wondering, ACT: 27
GPA: 3.0
OOS
Strong EC’s
Great essay
2 Letters of Rec
My guess is I’m in holistic review for my low GPA. Still frustrating though because I was told i’d have my decision by 12/15.

@caml99 Hey, I applied November 1st and got accepted November 17th. Mine said holistic review for only about 2 days, then it switched to “Admission Offered.” Holistic Review doesn’t mean anything bad, it just means that theyre reviewing your application holistically which is good. Maybe you should call them, I’m not sure why you haven’t been accepted yet. I think you’ll be ok though because my ACT was way below average at a 21. I’m pretty sure my essays is what made their decision right away.

Oh wow, DD’s portal has changed–she’s been accepted! This is her first choice so she’ll be excited, but she knows it’s a long shot because staying in-state (CA) will be more affordable. But we’ll see. I’ll post her info once she’s seen it.

Does U of O also send an email, and/or notification through the regular mail? Thx.

@luckymom22 My daughter did not receive an email, but she did get a packet in the mail several days after her acceptance appeared on the portal.

@lancmom Thanks!
