I received an email from Penn today asking me to email them my midterm report.

I mailed in a physical copy more than a month ago, but apparently they can’t find it or something.

Also it SUCKS that May 10th is the decision date. Why? Because it’s the same day that my deposit for NYU is due, and so far that’s the only school I’ve received a decision from.

@GregFields:
Does you deposit for NYU have to be through the mail or can u do it online? Also ask them if it has to be there on that day or u have it postmarked by that day is ok.

has anyone been contacted about missing documents yet? i know they will contact you if they feel that they need them but was just wondering if this has been done yet or if they still contact us up to the last minute.

^GregFields just said he was contacted about a missing midterm report… also, I called a few weeks ago and they said they would’ve contacted us already. I am not sure if they’ve processed everything, but it doesn’t hurt to call and ask.

it definitely isn’t a bad thing!! it means they are reviewing your application… they need more information I guess? Going through old threads about Penn transfers there is not definitive answer. some were accepted and some weren’t (of those asked to send midterm reports)

All transfer applicants must submit their mid-term grades. Failure to do so within the specified guidelines will put you at a disadvantage in the process and may delay our decision. Use the Common Application Mid-Term Report.

I sent out my midterm late last night because one of my teachers was taking a while to sign it…still, I don’t think it was sufficient time for me not to get an e-mail. I hope this doesn’t mean anything

I did! I’m going to be a junior this fall w/ a Finance/Marketing major from a top 40 university in the honor’s program. I hope theres not a lot of us. Where are u transferring from?
