Wow it’s about 10% and it’s higher than other schools like Harvard and MIT.

I bet over half the people applied to Wharton though. That is probably why you are stuck in the college you chose when you transfer.

Yeah, I’m hoping that a majority of people apply to Wharton, so it’s easier to get into CAS since there’s not as many applicants.

^ No reason to think that a majority–or even half–of the applications are to Wharton. In the freshman applicant pool, probably less than 25% of the applications are to Wharton, and there’s no indication that that percentage is any higher among transfer applicants. If anything, I’d bet that the percentage is even lower among transfer applicants, given that the Wharton curriculum has very specific freshman year course requirements that are more difficult to reproduce and/or transfer from another school.

Just curious, did anyone else apply to Haverford College as a transfer? I was just rejected. :(

Well either way, we’re going to found out in a few days. But traditionally, Cornell and UPenn are known to be the two ivies that accept the most transfer applicants.

ofc^ they are the two biggest schools, they also accept the most freshmen from hs

3 more days everyone!!

They sent out another reminder email lol.

So where are you all hoping to transfer from?

1 public school lol

lol why not say Berkeley?

I’m transferring from UT Dallas

I’m applying from NYU. I already got into Columbia, Dartmouth, and Cornell, but I’m really excited for Penn!!

@MrDrPatrick wow, congrats! #hotstreak

@saboteurj5 Thanks!! Just waiting to hear back from Penn and Brown (although I was rejected by Harvard, Yale, and Stanford lol)

@MrDrPatrick

Hi,
I’m hoping to transfer from NYU as well. Are you a sophomore transfer to CAS?

<–another transfer from NYU
