Official vs Non-Official Test Scores

Hi,

I'm a transfer applicant for the fall of 2013, and as I was checking my Harvard portal, it lists all of the tests I've taken thus far. I've submitted my best sittings, but it still lists all of my other attempts as "unofficial" test scores. I thought Harvard had a score-choice policy?

Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Statement on Score Choice

I'm asking this because on the portal it reads: "For tests marked as "un-official", Harvard has not yet received official score reports from the appropriate testing agencies. In order for your application to be considered complete, you must request that your official test scores be submitted to Harvard by the testing agency on your behalf."

I don't want to submit the other sittings...

Can someone clarify?

I’ve had the exact same situation for Harvard as a freshman applicant. As long as you have one complete set of “official” scores, you don’t need to submit anything additional. Unofficial simply means that Harvard received your other scores from a source other than your score report from College Board and they’ve listed that on the portal.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! I was really worried for a second.
