I've officially reported two ACT test dates to Harvard, but I've taken three total (including the state one).
My status says
September 2013 - official
June 2013 - official
April 2013 - un-official
Does this mean they want me to officially report the April one through ACT.
Also, on the top there is a report score button. Should I report scores they already have listed in my status page? (like all three ACT tests)

^^ There are too many “officials” in that sentence. If you just wrote down your scores on the Common App, that is called “self-reporting” not “officially-reporting.”

Harvard needs an OFFICIAL REPORT from the testing agency, which means that you (the student) must pay to have your scores sent directly to each college on your list. For the ACT, you must pay for each test date (and scores) that you want sent in. I’m assuming the one labeled “un-official” doesn’t meet Harvard’s standards, So, you can have either the September 2013 report sent or the June 2013 report sent or both. See: http://www.actstudent.org/scores/send/

If I understand the question, it looks like the OP has already paid to submit official reports of the two more recent testing dates, and Harvard has received those official reports. The OP can also have an official report of the April test sent to Harvard, but is not required to do that, and has no reason to do it unless there is some aspect of the April test that is meaningfully better than the other tests. If there is no official report, Harvard will not consider the scores. Harvard has the scores marked “unofficial” probably either because the OP included them in the application or, more likely, because as “the state one” that score may be included in the OP’s high school transcript.

OP: Stop worrying about this.

alright thanks JHS

Hi xyscholar,

My daughter took the state ACT (without writing) and it showed up on her school transcript…Harvard noticed this and requested an official score report. I’m sure they will contact you if they want to see it.

Good luck!
