No, they release all their decisions at once

@luluzg

Good to know that. Thanks!

people who got their decision in fedex, did you get tracking number?

^ nope

10char

I haven’t received my answer yet. I am from Bulgaria so imo that’s the reason.

I live in NJ and didn’t get a letter even though people down the block from me did. Strange.

Does Brandeis also mail decision letter to international students? :(

Yes. One of my friends got his Fedex package today. But I’m wondering if ALL accepted international students get Fedex packages or just the ones who received scholarships or got into programs.

^I didn’t get a scholarship or a program. I did get FA though, and I got it through FedEx.

there was some1 who said he didnt get in and got his decision via fedex. i called croatian fedex and they still didnt receive it. i guess i have to wait for their email.

I’m pretty sure Brandeis doesn’t send rejection letters via Fedex. Fedex costs like $30… I have to wait for the email as well. When are they going to send emails?

Same here, a classmate of mine got her acceptance letter via FedEx this morning.

i have no idea but 30$ seems to expensve for such a little package. go to the decision thread and a guy mentioned he was rejected and it came via fedex.

his nick is nns i think.

ps rejection comes as a letter so i dont think its as expensive as the package

I guess we just have to wait for the email… Any chance they might send it today (Monday afternoon EST)?

According to Brandeis, I don’t qualify for aid!
With the same figures, another equally good college is offering me $28K annually while Brandeis sent me an email saying that I DON’T qualify for aid. Seriously?!

I emailed them again, and they still think that my parents can sell off their property and pay for my education.

Well, their loss since it’s never been anywhere near my dream school.

We live less than 3 hours from Brandeis, but are waiting for notification. Today’s mail already came; nothing there. Will the admissions office respond to email requests for notification?

Ouch that sucks! Sth similar happened to me with Mount Holyoke because even with their scholarship and my contribution there was a $10 000 gap after negotiating the aid. I couldn’t believe they think we could afford the amount 3 times bigger than our EFC.

A lot of their donors were invested with Madoff, and so those donors may not meet their pledges. Brandeis’ investments also took a hit with the current recession. So the school maybe requiring a larger percentage of their students (parents) to pick up the missing pieces.

^ Then they should have rejected me. Why give me admission with no aid when clearly I require it?

The last email from them said that I have home equity of a really good amount. So, I can pay.
Are my parents going to sell our only house to pay for my education?
And the house is owned by my grandmother, who has 3 kids but we live with her.
Seriously, I find it ridiculous.
