I wasn’t expecting anything. With selective schools it’s such a toss-up. I was hoping for an acceptance.</p></li>

-I didn’t have connections with the regional admissions officer. He only reads two schools in my area, and most of the kids who got in from my school were buddy-buddy with him,
-My first term senior grades kinda slipped a bit.
Other than that, I don’t know. My interview went really well (we talked for 2 hours about philosophy, writing, literature, the arts, math, etc) and I thought my essays were pretty well written/creative. It would have been a good fit. Ah well.</p></li>

- I was almost positive I would be rejected. My ACT is only a 30.
- I showed a lot of interest in the school and my essays were really well done, I think. I just think my test scores brought me down.
