General Comments: Oh well, I was expecting this. I guess I'm just one of too many white kids from new york with high scores and no major hook. It's time to look to RD. My school hasn't been getting many people into ivies early, so I guess I'm part of the trend. I won't forget the EA family, and look forward to hearing from you other deferrees RD. Congrats to everyone who got in (although so far it does not seem like many).

Okay so...it seems a lot of people were deferred. What's this about? I thought Yale tends to reject far more than they defer? Obviously I can't base much on the few posts in this thread but...still. I wonder if things went differently this year.

I was Mexican American with a bunch of ECs and a 1500 and I got deferred.

AA doesn't work... :p

theyre going one by one

defer
reject
acceptance
