I just realized that in one of my short answer questions, the one that asks why you are applying to the school you are, I called Stern the "Leonard H. Stern School of Business" insetad of the "Leonard N. Stern School of Business." Are they going to care about that one letter? I am so scared, is there anything I can do? I just sent in my app yesterday. I can't believe I did this....

Is this a joke???

NO. This is not a joke. I am very scared because I really want to go to NYU and I know they hate typos. Seriously, this is not a joke.

Ok, well, I really think that is nothing to worry about. They probably won't even notice.

I'm just worried that they're going to think, "Wow, she doesn't even know the name of the school she's applying to, that sucks. Rejected."

Mattistotle thinks it's called "Sterns". I think that's worse.

Okay...I just hope you understand why this upsets me. I seriously have OCD...I proofread everything 8000 times, and then I end up with this stupid mistake that I can't do anything about. I pray they don't notice.

They will notice but you shouldn't worry about it. Will they reject you because you spelled some dude's name wrong? no.

I proofread my application maybe once

Okay...thanks for your input guys.
