Oh god..

I know it's taboo to refer specifically to the essay questions but I'm really freaking out here. I'll try to be vague.

I said the letter was to WASHINGTON and not JEFFERSON in my essay. How much do you think that will affect the score? I mean, I basically just talked about the rhetorical strategies...so hopefully it's not like a 1...

:(((

I’d say, if you wrote a 9-quality essay, the mistake would cost you nothing. If you wrote like a 6-quality essay, you’d lose a point, I’d say. Teachers would respect honest mistakes from good writers, but they will take the fact that you didn’t read the prompt well if you are a bad writer. That’s probably the only problem with holistic grading–teachers can basically form an impression of the student’s writing with peripheral ways.

ITS GADI!

Be prepared I’m reading your past posts.

Interesting insight I must say.

Ahh thanks that makes me feel a lot better. My AP teacher gave me nines on all the practice essays we did over the semester so hopefully she’s no easier than the official AP graders.
