<p>You're going to have to, if you want to grasp the complexities of the calculator. </p>
<p>I too said, "screw the manual." About a month later, I finally broke down and read it, and was amazed at some of the things the calculator can do.</p>

<p>what do you find to be the most helpful apps?</p>
<p>I find myself using the Polynomial root finder the most, followed by the Numeric Solver and Simultaneous Equation solver.</p>
<p>i had the slope, distance and midpoint programs on my 83, if i have someone send them from there 83 to my 89 will it work still?</p>
