oh man first quarter grades............ T-T

*, i can't believe it. i knew i should have studied harder for the final. i went in in top shape. A+ on the midterms. felt confident i could make the final easily after that. got cocky and didn't study. walked in, and holy *, i was killed. *. sure, i missed a lot of class. sure, i never really did the problems on a regular basis, but come on, that worked for the midterms, but *. this really sucks, and i feel like crap.

Pulled a 3.8 this quarter....sucks for you :)

3.83 Woot!

I still can't believe I pulled an A- in history after getting a 65 on my first paper.

How to succeed - come on! Go to class, do the work.. it's easy after that. It's not like you have more important things to do than go to class when you're at UCLA.

I pulled my first 3.8 this quarter, wooo. so close to the 4.0.

never be cocky never let your guard down!

Laxattack/deuces, what were your courses?

Chem 30B A-
Chem 30AL A
Physics 1C A-
Physics 4BL A+
SRP 99 Pass

And how was your social life? ;)

is it possible to have a decent social life and get above a 3.8 for a life science major?

i still don't have the final grade for ge clst 66a: los angeles. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE MY TA?!

so far my grades SUCK. i hope i can get at least a 3.5 for this quarter or my crazy asian parents will tell me to stay away from boys :( or they'll tell me to live at home and go to a local college.

english comp 3: A- (why can't it be an 'A'?! i wonder how close it is to an 'A'. seems like lotsa ppl get As for this class, right?)
math 3a: B (failed the first midterm. all b/c of the stupid midterm. the final was a little above average and if i got an A on it, then that would have been better). :( :(

why am i so cranky this holiday season? bad grades and confusion w/ life.

i am jealous of those 3.8+ ppl...

I'm assuming I got a 4.0... I'm like 99% sure I did, but it's not "official" yet. I got an A in my cluster and an A in History 1A, but I don't know my English grade yet (but I got an A on every paper and I did all the homework... so I should get an A). My schedule for next quarter is harder, though, so I'm sure my GPA will go down quite a bit...

My life was a bit less present than it was in previous quarters :P But I mean, it also had a bit to do with living in terrace instead of a hall like last year. I really had to push for good grades so I could apply for internships with a monster GPA. (my overall GPA = not so good)

However, now that I know what it takes to get the grades it'll be a whole lot easier. Research + 30AL + 4BL had a lot to do with no-lifeness though. Still got out enough to play soccer and a tiny bit of basketball, but not enough to play practically every day (that was winter last year, and gave me a 2.9 :P).

In any case, LS 2, CS 31 and 30BL are on deck for me. CS 31 and 30BL I'm a bit worried about - but i should enjoy it for the most part.

damn......no grades up for classics 10! i w a n t t o t h r o t t l e m y t a.......how many days does a person need?!

Is this more anxiety or do you actually think that the posters here will give you any sort of definitive answer? In the case that they took you seriously and wrote lengthy responses - would you even bother reading them or would you continue asking [inane] questions?

After the probably most crappiest quarter I've had at LA I am rejoicing that I passed. I am utterly disappointed that I am rejoicing in the fact that I passed but at the same time I am so so so very relieved I passed.

Batter up for the next quarter! Ready to rock. >]

ijreinsn, what class was this for?

better luck next time. study more and don't get caught off guard!

if someone doesn't listen to you then no use entertaining their questions..

 @ cocky north campus majors

I took 3 upper division humanities and got an A, A-, A-. Also worked and pledged a fraternity (the social life didn't take a hit).

 @ south campus majors who b!tch about the major THEY picked

 @ cocky people in general.

I still don't have grades for 2 of my classes, sigh.
