oh my goodness. i applied.

I applied to CALS bio yesterday, ED.

i reviewed my app like a dozen times, and frankly, i am SCARED. i think i've got a decent chance, but i'm nervous that its not in my hands anymore (with the exception of the interview).

on another note, does anyone know how i could check up on the status of my application to see whats going on or if anyone even downloaded it yet?

also, does anyone know if the admissions office will take a look at the application before they receive the recommendations and the school report?

thanks a bunch.

i'm applying to CALS ED as well! hopefully i'll see you there next year...but anyway, doesn't cornell not offer interviews?

hm...i thought they gave optional alumni interviews

oh that's right. does it look bad if you don't have one?

nah, they say its only to answer any pertinent questions about the college if you have any. but i was wondering something about the common app. are the two teacher evalution forms on there the same thing as the teacher recommendations?

u don't need alumni interview- i doubt it looks bad, doesnt seem 'necessary'. evalutations = recs, yea they are the same. gl

yeah, they're the same thing. the teacher usually writes a general letter then fills out that form and sends them together

hey EVILOLIVE, did you send in the whole app together?? along with all the recommendations and essays??

no, i sent just the commonapp and the supplement. i told my teachers to mail them their recs when they finished

I applied to ILR ED yesterday....Im very excited to see how this turns out.

it's going to be a long two months until the results come back. :-(

yepp. waiting sucks.

good luck guys! :-)

I'm sending in my CAS app tomorrow.. good luck to everyone goin for cornell :)
