oh no gpa went down to 3.15!!

Quick question. I’m in a similar situation with EXACTLY a 3.20 and I’m shooting for TAG with Davis. Say I get approved but do poorly fall semester and my GPA falls under 3.2. That would mean I’d be out right?

You wouldn’t be out for TAG just yet. They would initially approve you because Davis doesn’t count Fall for TAG. You would have to however bring your GPA back up to at least a 3.2 at the end of the coming Spring though. At least that’s their official policy, though I don’t remember anyone who got rescinded from a UC after they got accepted with TAG because their GPA fell below a 3.2.

Well, my major is applied math.

^Then I’d say you’re probably in UCR with that GPA as long as you will have IGETC and your pre-reqs done. You have a great shot at the other schools, but nothing is certain for those. UCD should be the easiest of those to get into (and your best chance). If you could bring your GPA up to a 3.2-3.3 at the end of Fall your chances would improve dramatically.

Hmm I forgot to mention my major. It’s chemistry. I don’t think its an impacted major rigght?

^I don’t think it is. But UCSB (and the others) might have specific requirements for your major, especially for TAG.
