Loved his duets with Lady Gaga
Saw him perform once in Reno, NV. He was a real class act.
D and I saw him perform with Lady Gaga at Radio City in 2015. Loved the show and so did D (she was one of the youngest ones there).
RIP Tony Bennett
I loved him. We always played old standards by him and others when our girls were young.
He will be missed.
RIP
DH attends a huge tech conference in orlando every year, and saw him in a private concert of 100 people just before covid (so I think 2019). He sang for about 45 minutes. Fortunate opportunity.
Always enjoyed his music and also loved rhe Lady Gaga collaboration (she treated him with such respect).
Tony Bennet was at my S’s graduation from Fordham where he recieved an honorary degree.
He had Alzheimers – hopefully he is at peace now.
Such a nice person, such a great singer. Class all-around. RIP.
All the originals of that area are gone /going. What a wonderful time in music history. Just good songs and lyrics and music.
Just don’t hear voices like his very much anymore.
I can’t even begin to count the number of hours I listened to Tony & others croon day in and out when I was a kid. Incredible voice.
And Andre Watts just died too Hadn’t heard that Remembering André Watts, the American pianist who opened doors of possibility : NPR
