<p>I just found out today that UM's not listed under the FIDER accredited I.D. programs! (And I was leaning nicely towards UM over Syracuse too, but now I'm floundering again.) Then I checked Collegeboard and it does say UM has Interior Design (BA), but I couldn't fid a list of design majors on the actual UM website, so I'm wondering if it actually exists afterall. And is it a HUGE deal if i graduate with an Interior Design BA that's not FIDER accredited?</p>
<p>I don't know enough to comment on your question - check with ASID, which is the national professional organization for interior designers. Michigan isn't particularly noted for its design professional programs. I know nothing about Syracuse's program.</p>
