oh, what to wear to the interview

I have my Harvard interview tomorrow at a law office (my interviewer is an attorney). I thought about a full suit, but I've decided to wear a dress shirt and tie. Does this sound good? I am planning to wear black pants and a crimson tie.

Yes, no suit or tie! And, wear a red (preferably crimson) shirt as it may be a notable quirk.

Call the interviewer and confirm the date/time of the interview. When you do so, casually ask them (i.e. "By the way...) whether the dress is casual or formal.
