I am going to get the collegeboard Blue book but then i would like a text that will help specifically with the critical reading section. Like, it has vocab or something. What should I get? Has anyone herd anything about the Kaplan SAT Vocab flashcards: flip-o-matic?

I'm using Grubers new SAT book. It gives you the most commonly used prefixes & suffixes, 291 of the most frequent SAT words, & 3400 words that may be on your test. (Most of those 3400 words you would know if you knew the right prefixes/suffixes, so I'd look throguh the list for really unusual words). Overall, I think it will help my score alot, but there may be books that focus only on Verbal/Writing SAT, which would probably be better.

ok, thanks. Ill look for that title.

get the one from Collegeboard- it's the only one that has "real" tests.

oh, and as a side note, don't take any SAT classes (not even princeton review) they help very little

yea, i wasn't planning on taking any classes. that the general consensus i ahve heard - very informational, but not very helpful.
