OK so I've asked if I have a good shot here, with a 3.3 UW 3.5 W and 25 on ACT. Some say I don't have a good shot, but I've always thought of it as a safety school. Is it really that hard to get into OOS? Btw I am a legacy if that matters at all.

Safety school for genuine Ivy League students, maybe.

Many, many people are choosing to stay in state for any number of reasons, not the least of which is the economic climate. Students from families that could afford OOS schools or private schools are taking advantage of the opportunities provided here. The competition for all state schools has increased. Since UF and FSU are considered flagship schools, the competition is even higher.

Not so safe for you. Your stats are on the lower end of the FSU student spectrum. Being a legacy student does help though.

p.s. It’s not a crime to put more than one question in a single thread.
I think I’ve seen more threads from you than anyone else here…ever. js
