i hope you all did as well as you had hoped to do.

32 composite
English–33
Math–32
Reading–30
Science–33

The English curve must’ve been harsh this time. I usually don’t miss more than one question in that section. The Math curve was probably generous because even though math is my best subject, I didn’t feel great about my performance in this section compared to practice tests and other ACTs. Anyways, a 32 is exactly the score I wanted. Honestly, a 33+ would’ve just been lucky for me.

rm1234-
how do you think the science and reading curves were? did you think you did better/worse or were those scores what you expected/

I think the curves in those sections were pretty standard. I felt like I missed 2 questions in the science section and probably 5-6 questions in reading. The reading curve might have been a bit more generous than usual. I was expecting/hoping to get mid-30’s in the science and 29-31 in reading, so I got what I expected.

How did you get your scores already?

O_o scores are out…?

kk thanks rm1234

I guess people who didn’t take the writing test got their scores mailed early.

Shiz… I really felt pretty good about this test!!

My predictions were:
English 33-34
Math 30-31
Reading 31-32
Science 31-32
Composite 31-32

My actual scores were:
English 34
Math 29
Reading 25
Science 28
Composite 29

awww D: man that sucks :[! are u planning to take it again?

Yeah my last try is in October!! I don’t know what happened with reading. I usually get in the 30’s… Shoot I am dang stressed for the next one! Anyone who can get a 36 on that jacked up test deserves praise!

Wait??!
They curve ACT scores?

^ they find your raw score (like 73/75) and then the way the find your score out of 36 is by using a curve.

I got a 36 on the English which really surprised me, but I totally bombed the Science section which I usually did well on during practice test ):

Define “bombed.”
