Ok Stats, want to go to Stanford. Any chance?

Ok well I’m going to look purely at your academics. If you think a 2180 SAT will get you into HYPS, you might as well believe that pigs can fly. Of course you can ignore everything we have been telling you for the past two months and say that it is the 50th percentile. That is a joke. If you want any real chance at those colleges, you need AT LEAST 2300 on the SAT. This might as well be a fact - don’t question it.

Your AP’s are also unimpressive. Only three 5’s show your lack of commitment towards academics. You only have to study the subject the night before to get a 3. Nothing about your academic record shows that you went outside of your comfort zone to achieve your current academic standing. For example, if you are in high school taking linear algebra/multivariable analysis at Stanford University (like me :D), that might be able to make you stand out from the thousands of other applicants with similar stats as yours.

Notice that I have not judged your EC’s, as many people on this forum already have. If I were to look purely at your academics, you have no shot at Stanford, Wharton, Harvard, etc. Again, you can use this as constructive criticism, or simply disregard it. But I do not wish that my 30 minutes spent reading and commenting on this thread goes to waste.

Wow. I wasted twenty minutes of my life reading this thread.
