so basically I think I applied before the scholarship deadline to USC, since I received the snail mail saying I did not receive the scholarship..

At the bottom though, it says if you haven't already, send your midyear grade report etc.

Okay, I've heard that midyears at USC are optional? And I did not send any report.. but on my USC Application Status Check it says, your application is "being reviewed, will know by april 1st, etc." It says it was last updated 2-26-08.

What do you think I should do? I know its too late to send the reports.. and if it says they have received everything, and they did not ask for the midyear reports specifically other than on the scholarship sheet, should I bother? Getting my school to send the reports would be another hassle..

You don't need to send it. Just wait for a decision now.

thank you for the response

If they have requested it, then you must send it. However, the letter that stated about you not continuing for the scholarship nominees isn't the request; there is a separate letter.. Also, if you got that letter, your online status should show "Send in mid-year report" or something like that.

Since neither of the two seems to be your case, I would assume you don't need to send it. Esp since your app is already in review, sending them something now would be rather useless. So, in other words, following protege.. no. Just wait for a decision. xD [i just wanted to give you an explanation so you know why :P]

You should send it because they might think you have something to hide!

haha thanks azhao525 i liked your response!

and i do have something to hide ;]
